They would take them all into a room and ask them until they find out.

According to Davina during various launch nights they go into hiding two weeks before launch. So after the eye flashes start (since they'll see the eye on documents etcetera anyway) and start date (since they'll know it before they go in anyway) but before house pictures, twists, etcetera get revealed.

We will find out on Launch if a person goes in flip-flops :joker:
