Voting From Rep. of Ireland
 

Anyone know if people from the Rep. of Ireland can vote !

Think the week Belinda was evicted last year people from the Rep. Ireland was stopped !!

Yeah I was quite annoyed last year because I used to vote often enough, I hope they let us but i'd say it's doubtful:sad:

I think that if it is on in the Rep of Ireland they should let you. Unlucky if they don't though :conf2:

Usually they do, well if they have an Irish person in and we can't vote then it's kind of unfair.

Did it not stop because of the whole "phone line pay scam thing'?

I agree but i think that you should vote on who you find most entertaining really, not just because they come from your home Town. That was the problem with Eoghan in X factor i think, and all of the young girls. Then, saying that most places do that i expect, not just ireland

Yeah I know what you mean, although when Spiral was in it I didn't vote for him even though he lives down the road from me.

Don't see why Ireland shouldn't be not allowed vote to be honest.

yeah! and also northern ireland have as much right to vote as england, scotland and wales!!

You must pretty close to me, because Spiral doesn't live far from me.


I e-mailed BB during CBB to ask why ROI voting had not returned and they said that the error that had occurred during the Belinda Vs Rex had not been fixed and that they didn't feel confident enough to re-open to voting without 100% certainty that it's fine.

I don't think it'll be back.

Its bang out of order if they let you stop voting because your from Ireland, Im from Northern Ireland though.

So People from the Republic cant vote on X Factor either?
If they could then Eoghan would of won or came second because of how many people in Ireland wanted him to win because we never win any english TV Shows.

Sprial from BB7 and Orla from BB6 were the only Irish ones in BB i alway see Orla in town :lovedup:

Im surprised there isnt a big kick off over the English not letting the Irish take part in their shows!
Its very unfair, and besides if the people at BB are evil they would probley fix the show again if an Irish Person won.

Most english people have learned to like the Irish theres still that bunch that hate us... And if some of them work at BB then an Irish person will never win!

Well I don't think it's a case of not letting the Irish on I mean there had to have been at least 8-10???

ROI used to be able to vote in XF and BGT, but not any more. I dont think it's ever really the case that Irish people vote for Irish people, really. If that was the case Spiral would have done much better in BB7. Do English people vote for English people just because they are from England? .. nah.
