Who has read 1984 by George Orwell?
 

I put it in the Big Brother bit because they're directly linked I guess :S

Just wondering if anyone had actually read the book from which the TV series originated?

I read about 5 pages of it last year then got boared.

I started to read it but I didn't into the book and gave up on it quite quickly

except the middle bit, ive read it twice and its so dull, even my English eacher skips that bit lol

I had to study it for english lit recently and absoloutely hated it. It was so boring and confusing but i have to say it was a bit scary thinking what we it would be like if we were really living in a society like that.

I was in an adapted version for the stage, it was intense to say the least. I played Sime

Also I agree with read it all, the first half is so uneventful it gets really good in the second half.
