But I was ecstatic that Gareth made the top 3 voted by the public.

He got like a 10 second video clip in the Audition and was one of the underdogs to get through, he proved how great he was tonight and the public saw this and discarded Jamie Pugh and his sob story for a more talented act.

Of course, he wouldn't get past the judges as they already have their 'chosen ones' but the fact the public saw how good Gareth the underdog was made me really happy. :spin2:

Anybody else joyed by this or am I just really, really sad? LOL

I was glad that he got to the top 3, his was the only worthy performance apart from the top 2. I'm glad Jamie Pugh didn't get through, I loved him at first but I think everyone saw through his act tonight. I liked how normal he was after he had sung.

Well, not really because I thought he shouldve been in the final. That other singer was just ordinary. And this guys act was pretty awesome.

Yeah, I guess so, but I think the fact that an underdog who got a 10 second clip in the auditions going in the top three over a "chosen one" who had a story and a 7 minute clip is still a definate step up.

Would have loved to see Gareth in the final though. :sad:

Yeah really glad Gareth got into the Top 3. He completely deserved it.
