MAJOR ADVERTISING CAMPAING ON LAUNCH DAY!?
 

Perhaps channel 4 are waiting untill thursday then they will go mad and advertise on youtube, bebo, myspace and other sites!! :)

I got well excited with the title being in CAPS lol - thought it was a breaking story.

They would be leaving it a bitty late.

But yes they will go mad with the advertising, on TV at least. More than likely, all Channel 4 idents will be replaced with a BB flash, just like the years gone by.

Its likely they`ll put it on Bebo on thursday, Bebo only advertises on the day!

They`ll get millions more viewers by bebo though so thats good :thumbs2:

Advertising has been poor and one day wont make up for it

Advertsing has not been poor.

Its been been great this year. I work in a shop and everyone is talking about it, not just the hardcore BB fans. People are excited. I've heard a few people mention having people round for the launch even.

I think the advertising could have been better this year. Apart from the usual eye flashes and ads on Channel 4, they haven't really made much more of a special effort to promote the new series.

Why didn't they advertise in cinemas, put posters up in the London Underground and other popular places, got some advertising space during the Britain's Got Talent final so the ad could have been seen by millions of more viewers.. More effort could have gone in to the ad campaign.

I think its a good idea advertising on launch day.
for one reason: People who arent that into the show wont forget it.

I think advertising has been fairly strong this year. They haven't really given too much away about the house or the series so most things will be a surprise for launch night.

Then we've had regular countdown and series adverts which have been very eye catching.

Ive cancelled my Bebo account around last year, i thought they adverised it a few days before not just on the day??? Ive heard that theres loads of BB groups on there and some people are advertising it round the site.

Davina is on Chris Moyles show tomorrow, im sure its the most lisened to radio station and show. Im sure it constantly gets 7m+ s thats a good move. Does Davina normally do that on Radio One?

Davina always goes on Radio 1 before launch night.

But it didn't really help last year when it got bad ratings compared to the years before!
