Alpha Male & Female?

Who do you see taking on these roles in the house? Will there be any clashes?

Only time will tell.

Maybe there won't be an alpha male/female.

Rod seems very upfront and quite a peacemaker, so I guess he could take that role. Alpha male in BB is different to the term "alpha male". In BB, they alpha male needs to be involved in all the tasks and make decisions and get involved with everything - so I can see Rod being there.

Alpha female is hard, usually all the women in BB take a backseat role in everything. No one ever steps forward

Personally I don't really like alpha people in general. They're usually pretty arrogant and think they have the right to boss others around. I only started watching BB recently but from what I can tell there hasn't usually been an alpha male (or female, for that matter) and when there has been he's been voted out pretty early.

It depends how you take the term "alpha male" to mean. I took it in terms of BB specifically. If we use the general term "alpha male" (as in strong, fit, attractive, leader) - then BB usually doesn't have them.

That's definitely true.
