PC Tony Stamp wrestles baddy http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...-Bill-old.html I think he is a good actor just to get rid of him due to his age is wrong. |
I remember this happening to a five news reader, but if he still is able to do stunts and action scenes,he age can't be affecting his work.

well after 22 years he should have made detective.

Maybe but he is good as a Copper in that show. |
Is there not some law against sacking someone because of their age?

Under New Labour we are in a mess on Laws. But I think there is a Law , yes. |

ps "Is there not some law against...." no there isn't... not for actors or people in the arts. If your pushing 60 and the role is a character who is 20 to 30 then that choice isn't ageist it's an artistic/creative choice. They ( the producers) can claim he ( the actor) is too old for the role now. Ps who said he was sacked due to his age? Actors of all ages get the boot all the time. |
He is good in his role
adds balance. And it is My Right to have a Shot at who is in Power. |
He should get a job in CID...although that couldnt suit him, he is better of as a PC
