How exactly can we get to know the housemates properly without live feed?
 

I'm not a Live Feed whinger... BUT how are we exactly going to get to know the housemates with just 42 minutes of footbage per day.

I didn't watch the live feed much personally, but it was really good because people who did watch it would talk about it on the forums.

And so we would read those comments and get an idea about how each housemate is. Also we used to get loads of stories from the press due to the live feed.

Now the live feed is gone, every bit of information we receive is from Channel 4. And unfortunately they're not updating their news properly! So we're hardly getting any info regarding the housemates.

So just to reiterate - I wasn't a big live feed watcher. But the net effect of having live feed is crucial to get to know the housemates, isn't it?

Highlights and Night live feed

We don't. But the life feed was always best at night anyway, so I don't really mind.

Just watch the HL shows !!!

I got to know the housemates perfectly fine with the live feed for the past four years. Sure, we are not shown all their aspects, but if I am only seeing them for an hour a day anyway, who cares. I only want to see their best bits.

I dont particularly obsess with 'getting to know' some strangers on the tube.

good point, it's a other aspect that was seriously effected by the feed.

Seriously its that simple. You have 14 weeks, I am sure watching every night you will get to know them.

That's what i said. I get to know them much better when live feed is on because on the main show they only pic certain people to focus on. When LF is on we get to see a bit of everyone. I'm just happy it's on at night time at least.

No no no, you people who are saying in highlighs show have no idea!

Highlight show is the worst place to learn about the housemates. To edited they choose the winner... not you!

But 43 mins of highlights + night feed consisting of them sleeping half the time isn't good enough.

Live feed was also constantly edited to show you certain events at certain times. You do know they dont just let the cameras show random images?

Besides, I dont give a crap about 'the real them'. I have human friends within a mile of here.

Agreed, the live feed was/is very edited.

President, no-one exactly knows anyone, not even their own brother. We only show anyone our edited selves. Sad but true.

I have never watched the live feed and I got to know the Housemates.
There isnt just the one hour show at night there is BBLB BBBM and news paper coverage so there is plenty of coverage.
