Seems fair to me,i mean if somone voted 100,there would be some sort of investigation.

marctierman 06-06-2009 11:27 AM

What's wrong with them? :s

MR.K! 06-06-2009 11:27 AM

Hmm. Thats quite dodgey-looking.

'' You may vote as many times as you like but the eligibility of any vote entry is at the sole discretion of Channel 4.''

- so thier saying only specific votes they want will be counted !?

WTF? Please tell me this is not for real?

Term No. 3:

3. You may vote as many times as you like but the eligibility of any vote entry is at the sole discretion of Channel 4.

It says the ELIGIBILITY of ANY vote is at the SOLE DISCRETION of CH4.

In other words if people are voting off one of Ch4's favouites then they can just disregard the votes!!!

InsertNameHere 06-06-2009 11:31 AM

they dont look any different from any other years

samuels 06-06-2009 11:37 AM

these have always been the terms havent they?

Harry! 06-06-2009 11:38 AM

Another 2 which I found. Very simalar iin my opinion.

6. Channel 4 may suspend, withdraw, cancel or re-set the Vote for any reason at its sole discretion and at any time.

11. Channel 4's decision in relation to all matters affecting the Votes is final.

6*Alives 06-06-2009 11:39 AM

Or what about term 6:

6. Channel 4 may suspend, withdraw, cancel or re-set the Vote for any reason at its sole discretion and at any time.

6*Alives 06-06-2009 11:39 AM

Term 7:

7. Under no circumstances will there be a refund for any vote cast or for any misdialled calls.

6*Alives 06-06-2009 11:40 AM

Term 9:

9. At times you may not be able to get through to register your vote. Channel 4 is not liable to callers who are unable to register a vote.

ILoveTRW 06-06-2009 11:40 AM

good its about time big brother fixed the vote because it is evident that the British public are incapable of keeping the entertaining people in

6*Alives 06-06-2009 11:41 AM

Term 11:

user12975 06-06-2009 11:41 AM

joke

Tom 06-06-2009 11:41 AM

This place is turning into Digital Spy for conspiracy theories, its getting quite pathetic now

These kind of rules are in place to stop block voting to change the results from a bookies view, just look at recent reports to see that. Whats more, that rule has always been there and other shows have the same clause too.

Complete overreaction doesn't even seem to cover some of the posts in this thread.

They only do it in exceptional circumstances, eg CBB5 when Shilpa was up for eviction and on screen it said "to win". They haven't done it since.

Thats 100% fair. Why should Channel 4 pay you for your error?

All reality TV shows have that clause- at some point in every reality show the phone lines get jammed. Its just the way things are.

That doesn't mean they're going to fix it. That just means all of the above.

You're clutching at very short straws here.

because it makes the public believe that they are involved in the show and there gets the show more ratings

mozzymozmoz 06-06-2009 11:47 AM

can everyone stop complaing about it, it is THEIR tv programme, they say how it is run, and they have declared all of the above. Whats the problem?
Just dont vote if you have the issue.
Im sure they dont change the votes anyway. Just if they find that a person has voted 1000 times for someone, there just going to cancel half, because thats just stupid.
They are acrtually ballowed to do what they want, its their show.
I hate it how people on here are suposed to be "fans" but all you do is just complain and moan, get a life and dont come on here or even watch it.
Yeah the LF is annoying, but its their desicsion. We take all of that stuff for granted anyway.

Then its okay for them to choose the winner even though we spend money?
