Davina McCall has slammed hardcore Big Brother fans who have complained about the show.

Speaking on her Twitter site, the presenter criticised the fans.

She said: "All you ratings obsessives...let it go. 10pm sunday night C4 1.8....AMAZING!! get over it...make your cup half full.."

Her comments come after fans complained about there being no 24 hour live feed this year. Ratings have tumbled to record low levels, with last night's eviction getting just 1.9m - the lowest for an eviction in Big Brother history.

Endemol sources are reportefly furious with the lack of support from Channel 4 and have set up a crisis meeting with the broadcaster with immediate effect.

Bookmakers have slashed the odds for Big Brother to get axed mid series to just 4/1 as the show continues to fall in the ratings.

Yesterday on her Twitter she did seem to be very furious and snappy with the fans following her.... i love Davina but she should stand up to C4 because they are messing with her mind.

Endemol has been suprisingly supportive with the fans after recieving complaints. But tbh, what can Endemol do really?

I feel sorry for Davina. Everyone seems to just be using her Twitter to have a go at her. I can see why though, she is the front man. Remember she is a fan like the rest of us but is getting paid so can't go round agreeing with everything we think. Not publicly anyway.

endemol should be able to do something... its their show, not C4's at the end of the day.

The thing is the dislike is not going towards Davina, fans are just pushing her to tell the producers to do something.

tbh last nights eviction was shocking. I was expecting 3/4 not to get through and the bus interview was so awkward to watch.

I would have thought that Devina as a BB fan should understand why some fans feel somewhat undervalued...and worried about the show.....maybe she gets to see more than we do?

I've contributed very well to these forums, and I can not understand why my views should not be put here.

This is not a Big Brother Appreciation forum. I'm a big fan, but I'm finding it difficult to enjoy this series without live feed.

It's ironic because pre-launch I was in full support of Channel 4's decision, but I have realised over the last few days that it was a huge mistake.

funny enough people think Davina is the spokesperson for BB she's just the damned presenter. I don't agree with the 'amazing' bit.

You're affecting other people's enjoyment of the series and of the the forum in general. Every time I come here now I just get pissed off at your repetitive posts about the same thing.

Now you've realised this "huge mistake", why do you have to keep telling us about it time and time again? You pick at every small thing to make it seem like its all 100% live feed related.

And actually, it is an appreciation site. Its a fan site, if you don't like BB anymore then bugger off. I don't get why people intent on bringing the show or the feeling of the show down stick around if they claim they don't like the show (not solely aimed at you).
