proof that \'good looking\' is what society says
 

How anyone can describe Kris and Karly as good looking is beyond me. Karly has an ugly, stern look on her face, a sharp nose and pinched, small mouth and blank, dull eyes, peroxide blond hair and the boring, skinny figure all girls want because it is popular. Therefore, because we are all told to find that attractive, people in the herds on here, drawl over her. Where are the natural good looks without the make up, without being manufactured, smiling a bit, not focussing just on her looks, a little bit of sensitivity or intelligence?
She is a useless waste of space who demonstrates how low society is falling.

As for Kris, I am a fair and honest guy. If there is someone in the house who I think is good looking, I will happily admit to it. Charley is also repulsive, but at least he has nice eyes. Kris has nothing to commend him. Again, he looks like an indie rock star, so girls associate his looks with what is popular in society, then fancy him. Attraction is so often based on what is popular, we don't see him for how he really looks.....skinny, without an ounce of flesh on him, not the nicest body I've ever seen!! a face like a babboon's arse, all unkempt with hair everywhere and his eyes are so wide apart, he looks like an alien. He has no nice features about him, so I was amazed when girls flocked to him.

Sophie. She actually has a pretty face, and I can see people finding her attractive. But her fake tits are ludicrous and she has this really vacuous, dull look about her too. Not in a snobby way like Karly, but in this 'hey I'm cool with life and everything is fine, I want to be a porn star. Magazine deal' kind of way.

And the way they use the word 'like' in every single sentence is irritating the cr@p out of me.

Sorry to keep on but its not the looks that count for them it's the mag deals they are thinking about after they have gone out and ophie and Kris are now gonna be in the money, and it will bore the hell out of me!!

That's a bit harsh about carly i think she's quite pretty.

Lea had blonde peroxide hair and big boobs, she must also be good looking by societies definition.

sophie and kris have the least genuine romance!! there was more bloody more genuine chemistry with jen and dale!!

Nonsense. She was trying to CONFORM to what society thinks of as good looking. That doesn't make her good looking. It is that the vast hordes of people who ARE considered good looking tend to be this way in manufactured society today. That doesn't mean that just because someone looks like that they are.

Ah Moses, finally a post to reflect my own views.

I like Karly though. She's a nice girl, I just wish she had stuck with the brunette hair. Made her look less trashy and more sophisticated, in my opinion.

Kris. Yuck. He looks like a hobo with all that hair, but I do like skinny boys. :laugh:

If the rest are ugly then they're also conforming to what society thing is good looking, but if people do find them good looking, well maybe they actually are!!

I think Sophie is quite pretty,she has a soft welcoming smile. Angel is beautiful, with classical bone structure. Noirin is very pretty too, beautiful eyes and skin I would kill for. Karly has a fantastic body and although her facial features are strong they are in proportion and she looks good. Lisa has great eyes. All in all all the girls this year have something I am Jealous of! :blush:

But the men this year are all too feminine for me. Even marcus is in to his male grooming, even if it is his pork chop side burns! i am surprised the girls can get their makeup on, I have never seen so many men look in mirrors alll day!

Sophie is goodlooking due to personal opinion As is Noirin.

Society these days shows slightly bigger girls to what i like as sorta the perfect woman, so i dont tend to follow what society says.

I also dislike big boobs lol.

But Sophie is pretty and has a great body minus the boobs.

Noirin is amazing she has a great body and is so pretty.

Karly was much hotter with brunette hair.

Again, you miss the point of my thread, I am trying to say that 'good looking' is not seen as good looking anymore, just what is popular. You clearly are not on my wave length.

As for if I'm a stunner or not, at least I am genuine and stay true to myself. I look how I look. No peroxide, no fake tits. Just me. Doubt I'm a stunner but I'm definitely not ugly.

Good looking & Attractive are 2 very diffrent things.

You claim society shows bigger girls than what you like - but Sophie is so skinny I find it vile, she just has big boobs.

You also claim that you like them due to 'personal opinion', but I put to you that this is practically impossible, as you have had to be influenced by society - I do not stand untainted but this brush either.
