BB10: Social Hierarchy analysed
 

Every group, whether social or at work, has a hierarchy of some sort.

Someone will suggest something and everyone else will go along with it, whether they agree or not. But if someone else had said it, others would have voiced their disapproval.

So what is the order in BB10?

I'd say:








Marcus has his position because he's that bit older, but also able to relate to the younger ones. Unlike previous older HM's, he stays up late. He's a big presence physically and is commanding and authoritative.

Siavash is measured and thoughtful with a fantastic sense of humour. Less obvious than Marcus, but I think he has the ears of many of his fellow HM's. Losing Cairon will be a blow to him, though.

Lisa wants to be one of the big dogs, but I think she's been neutered by BB.

I have underlined Noirin because she is the most important person in that house. She has the vast majority of them wrapped around her finger. She seems like a clever girl, pretty, quite funny and well liked in the house. Also she is getting on well with Siavash and Marcus who are currently the most "powerful" in the house. She is the darkhorse to win.

Charlie is slightly above the others because I see him as the leader of the bromance between him and Kris.

Below Charlie you have the "quiet ones" who are quite well respected, but not influential.

The bottom 3 unfortunately are seen as a joke in the house and are the "rejects". They're the eccentric characters which the majority of the group can't take seriously. They are inevitably going to be nominated this week.

I think Kris should probably be on the next tier up - just because I cant remember anyone ever nominating him... I could be wrong :shrug:

Yes, I did consider that. But then I thought, he's not as influential as Charlie.

He doesn't get nominations aganist him, but he's not really powerful in the game. I thought putting him next to Dogface was a fair analysis.

Good observations! I don't know if Marcus should be so high up though. He is loud and they do listen but i don;t think they pay too much attention!

Good post, always interesting to speak about stuff like this, but personally I'd put Lisa on the top level and move Noirin down a level. I also think Rodrigo is at the bottom. I think Charlie is going to be pivotal when BB10 is in full swing and proper cliques form, especially with new arrivals.

I definitely think Marcus is at the top.

He certainly cemented his place above Noirin in the pecking order by going on about her exposing her breasts for him. Her refusal was neither here nor there. What was important was that, even in a joking way, he was pretty much playing the chest-beating alpha male.

He certainly had Sree running away with his tail between his legs, crying to second-tier housemate Lisa.

Ok I conceed! Please don't beat you're chest 'cause I can abide 'Alpha Male' rubbish! They all stop the chest pounding when their Mammies tell them!:cheer2:

They might ask you to be one of the experts on the eviction show, you have to be an improvement on Vanessa (the blimp) and the unfunny comedian!!!:angel:

People like her in the house so she's not going to be nominated for a while.
