I swear Halfwit's on something. He just constantly sounds stoned. Like, when Siavash asked how the kiss was he said "Hmmmm, wooonderful". The hippy task suited him well.

Well at that point I think he was kinda drunk.

I like it. He probably smokes dope but regardless I think he is just someone who is always naturally spaced out. Nothing on Pete or Tracey. Tracey was clearly tripping her face off on something on launch night.

I remember when the first UK series aired that my mate's girlfriend worked for the production team, and she said that they were all just stoned all the time. In the second series I remember seeing a pile of hash and a pile of weed on the chopping block and Amma pointing to one and saying "right, so that's the hash, yeah?" In the 3rd series I remember live feed one night that the divide was up and he was on the poor side saying "I'm going to skin up and go to bed". The camera stayed on him as he indeed did skin up a big joint, light it, have a few drags, and then pass it over through the divide before going to bed.

They don't seem to have had any drugs in there for years but they certainly used to.

Absoloute rubbish. Their watched 24/7. We would have heard thousands of news stories about this by now. In fact, Big Brother would never have made it to series 4. It simply would not be allowed. The Big Brother house is not a seperate state exempt from law.

It's nice in his world isn't it.

Actual translation: "I do know that I'm right but can't back it up with any evidence therefore any discussion is going to be a long string of people making assertions they can't back up and probably descend into name-calling. Stuff about police statements about things like willingness to prosecute marijuana usage wouldn't count as evidence to support my argument any more than statements about 'it never being allowed' support the other side of the argument, meaning bringing them up would also just lead to a long, pointless argument that would again just descend into name-calling. And a discussion about the ethics of giving them drugs during a series in which they allowed Jade to spend an entire day drinking herself silly and eating nothing and Kate get so drunk that she couldn't even put on a pair of trousers would only lead to a long pointless discussion about whether marijuana is safer than alcohol to consume and both sides making groundless and unsupportable statements about what the producers' opinions on that issue is and would probably just end up with name-calling.

It is interesting that you don't seem to have a problem believing that it happened in the French house. France's anti-marijuana laws are so harsh they've been condemned by the European Court of Human Rights.

But there you go. I'm not going to get into a long and pointless argument about it. Neither one of us can support our arguments. Neither one of us is going to persuade the other one we're right. So you believe what you want to believe and I'll believe what I've seen with my own eyes. That way we're both happy.

I doubt it happened in the French house either. And trust me I know weed is safer than Alcohol and what you said about Kate & Jade. But really, theirs nothing to debate. Your just wrong. I can support my argument. Theirs a couple of dozen pieces of legislation, television regulation sheets, and health & safety documets that are all their to back me up. And the COMPLETE lack of testimonials from anybody but you. Not one worker on the show, not one housemate, not one member of the press, not one viewer of the many hundreds of thousands who watched live. No, just GerogeOrwell and his forty posts.
