Today Big Brother has set the housemates a task, if they pass the task they win a party for Mary's Birthday!

The housemates are to create a Rap about a fellow housemate! They must create an MC name for themselves and perform their rap in front of the group later today!

That will be easy for Science.

Big Brother will be assessing da Housemates' rapping skills when they go head to head in today's MC Battle task.

If all Housemates complete the task they will win a birthday party for Mary.

Saskia brought instructions from Big "Biggy" Brother to get into pairs and spend 45 minutes writing a rap about their partner.

The wannabe gangsta stars are free to decide upon the style, content and length of their rap, but it has to be fly. Apparently.

Blackboards and chalk are provided for the task but no rapper would be seen dead reading from a blackboard, so the final performance must be done from memory.

Housemates will be choosing their own MC names and going head to head in an MC Battle later this afternoon.

Golden chains, bandanas and lashings of bling. The Housemates have been dressing the part for today's MC battle task.

All Housemates showed nuff respect to Big Brother as they performed their raps in pairs.

First up, and raring to give it some was MC Lush, AKA Lesley. Her rap about Makosi summed the lass up perfectly, "She's beautiful, she's loud, she's a bit too proud."

MC Queen Bee (Makosi) took it like a lady and delivered a charming rap in return.

Sciencechose to keep it real and performed as MC Science. His freestyle about Vanessa was pretty revealing, in that he admitted he would like her to reveal quite a bit more. "Can't really diss her cos I'd like to undress her," gives a flavour.

The surprise of the show was Mary, her enthusiastic efforts would have had Mary J. Blige running for the hills. "Go on Craig, show us your elemental glow," she growled. Rather long, and slightly odd just about sums it up.

Roberto was incomprehensible, but looked damn fine. Kemal as MC Fabuloso responded well to Big Brother's constant big-ups of, "Hold the fort down and bang it." And such like. Sam looked like she was having a fit, and someone needs to give Saskia a record deal.

And finally Maxwell took the mic, and using The Streets as an inspiration, delivered a rhythmic account of all of the Housemates.

Whos annoyed Lesley? ive been at work so did'nt get chance to see the rap task.

Maxwell, but it seems to be a misunderstanding she thinks Max and Sam are making fun of her!
