Call to nominate, ever been done in bb history? Possible? Good idea?

That would be interesting to try for one occasion, then the housemates decide who is evicted.

Who have to now decide which 1 person you want to leave.

Like on the weakest link.

Vote to nominate Sound a great idea. Public would also have to vote to evict because HMs would evict the wrong one (it's a numbers thing)

it was done in BB3.

It's been done twice before.

In BB3 when the public decided to nominate Lynn and Jade, and the h/mates chose to evict Lynn.



and in BB6 when the public chose Makosi and Vanessa, and the h/mates evicted Vanessa.

The BB8 guru task sort of fits the bill too - all of the housemates except the three Gurus faced the public the vote, and the Gurus chose who was evicted from the two with the most votes.
