What Radio Stations do You Listen to?
 

Just out of interest, which radio stations do all you listen to, if you do.

I only ever listen to 3:
- Galaxy FM
- BBC Radio 1
- The Pulse

Galaxy's my favourite.

Radio 1 :)

Radio 1

I rarely listen to the radio. Before I got my ipod, I use to listen to XFM all the time.

Kiss and sometimes Capital.

I don't like enough music to listen to the Radio, so none. I used to listen to the Trevor Nelson show on Radio 1 though.

Radio 1 and Northsound, but only very occasionally.

Oh, and just so it's clear I only listen in the car when I'm coming to or from Uni (3-4 hour journey).

Only Radio 1 because I love most of the shows especially Chris Moyles, Scott Mills, Sara Cox and Greg james
I sometimes listen to Heart, but thats only when Edith is on air on Radio 1.

heart they took over the local station i used to listen i didnt like it at first cos prefered the local but like it now
i also sometimes listen to the debates on 3 counties radio (which is a local one my fav debate was over pot holes being natures speed bumps :laugh2: )

Clyde 1 (My local station)
Radio 1 for the chart show and occasionaly the request show.

And very rarely Real Radio.

Radio 1 and Radio 2. oh and Kerrang sometimes.

I used to listen to Triple M. They brand themselves the rock station but now their entire playlist consists of Nickelback, Pink, Kelly Clarkson and Lily Allen (and of course Kings of Leon's new record, which was shocking compared to their old ones). So I switched that off. Vega was alright, like Triple M they play all music from 60s onwards that has been mainly mainstream, but they play Pink like twenty times a day so they were out. Triple J was alright, but sometimes the music was good and sometimes it was just shocking. I couldn't tell which show was on when.

I listen to SYN 90.7 now (Student Youth Network). It's like a uni radio-station, but anyone from I think 15 to 25 can host a graveyard shift (or if good enough a proper show) on it. I mainly listen to it on the indie nights, the metal nights and on the occasion that it's not a specific night but they're playing good songs anyway. The only problem I have with them is that they don't say the names of the songs they're playing. Their music taste is great, like usually indie-alternative or rock sort of stuff, but I mean I've heard like fifty billion songs that I love but don't know the name of. Like literally ten in a row, I keep trying to remember them to post in the "what's that song" thread here, but then another one comes up and I keep forgetting them.
