Stressed out Chicken!

from Ananova

Chicken leaves Big Brother house

One of the Big Brother chickens has left the house after being diagnosed as suffering from stress.

The black and white speckled hen is recovering in an animal hospital.

Its feathers are falling out, it is suffering from diarrhoea and it has been refusing to eat.

A Big Brother spokeswoman says the chicken's condition is not a result of being in the show.

"It is just something that chickens get. It has been seen by a vet but we expect it to make a full recovery and be back with us by the beginning of next week," she said.

Well all I can say is that I'd certainly be stressed out if I was living in that house. Wouldn't you!!

What is it with Big Brother and its obsession with chickens? :spin2: :conf: :spin2:

I know the creator of Big Brother has insisted that looking after the chickens is an integral part of all BB programmes, but they really don't seem to have much luck at all with them!

Several of the BB1 chickens became unwell, and poor Princess Leia became the first BB fatality last year. :bawling:

This year the poor creatures are suffering from stress!

Give chickens a break, and inflict the housemates on some other animal! :colour: :spin2::colour:
