Could Freddie End Up Being evicted Like Caroline?

http://i43.tinypic.com/2qb9o1y.jpg
Caroline (Big Brother 1)

In the first Big brother poor Caroline was up for eviction 3 times in a row from the very start and ended up breaking down into tears because she thought everybody hated her. The public saved her twice, but in the week she broke down evicted her because most people felt so sorry for her to have to be going through that, yet she was loved and cheered by the audience.

Could this happen to Freddie as his pattern seems to be very close to Carolines in terms of being put up for eviction and nominated and disliked by h/mates.

no cos he hasn't broke down crying like a fool.
he said he wants to stay and fight, and people will want to see his plan.

Twilight 02-07-2009 04:04 PM

I can't see him breaking down crying.

A few more weeks of this and it would take it's toll on even the strongest person. I personally think that they will wear him down. Could you survive 13 weeks of this?

I just think he knows that hes LOVED By the public, I wish he could just see that hes the favourite to win, he`ll stay and fight.

Halfwit is a strong trooper! :dazzler:

I highly doubt that. Human emotions are a fragile thing. Anyone could stand it at first, but it eats away at you inside so very quickly having continous hate, especially considering he cannot walk away from these people, he's trapped in the house with them (he won't leave/walk because that means they win).

MrGaryy 02-07-2009 04:12 PM

No, for one thing he will be constantly up against people more hated than him. and secondly, Freddie is about a MILLION times more intelligent and strong than Caroline was.

GiRTh 02-07-2009 04:13 PM

I hope so. I think the public should put Freddie and the other HM's out of their misery and evict him this week.

Intelligence has NOTHING to do with emotions. There is only so much any person can take. I am seriously worried that this could do him some serious head damage. Yeah the public may love him, but having so much hate for such a long time and at such an intense level will start messing with him.

If anybody has been bullied you know how hard it can be, and even when it over, it still affects you for the rest of your life.

If he goes it will be a Paul BB2 senario. He'll be up every week - not up one week and get cocky - up the next week and gone. If not, he'll win.

HA. It may not have anything to do with how they come but it has a lot to do with how you deal with them. Caroline was, to put it nicely, more than a tad dim. Freddie is extremely emotionally intelligent and clearly sees that reacting by breaking down is exactly what they want and is determined not to let Kris and Lisa's gang win.

And yes I have been bullied and yes I do know it can effect you for the rest of your life. But to what extent it effects you is down to how much you let it effect you.

Rozartytype 02-07-2009 04:23 PM

Freddie's from the English aristocracy-they're made of stern stuff, don't ya know!
Freddie is now getting used to being nominated each week, and also getting used to surviving. He can last as long as he plays Team Nasty at their own game.

yes but what i'm saying is that his hate is intense. He is with this people 24/7. No escape. His only escape is to leave the house, which he won't do yet. But another3 weeks of this could lead him to finally hitting the last straw and going. At least if we are bullied we can walk away and find our comfort zone away from everyone.

Narc 02-07-2009 04:26 PM

I think Freddie's intelligence will keep him from getting too emotionally drained because of this, he's probably the only one in there who can distinguish between Houselife and REAL life

RCW1945 02-07-2009 04:31 PM

He's a Toryboy,ex-public school so he's used to being hated.

Beyoncé 02-07-2009 04:34 PM

No because I don't think he'll break down in front of people/in the diary room. He KNOWS that people are playing games and nominating him because a) they don't know who else to nominate b) they want to stick with the status quo so they themselves don't get nominated and/or c) they think/know others are going to nominate him, so he'll definitely be up for eviction. He's clever and I don't think he's taking it too personally. I think the majority of fans know this, so will keep him. Plus, loads of people (at least on here!) want him to win.

Benjamin 02-07-2009 04:36 PM

I love how all the Freddie 'fans' say he is strong, he won't let it get to him etc etc.

Just because he is your fave does not mean he is immune from being broken down by people. Doesn't mean it's a bad thing. It makes him a real person. I actually think i would like him more if he did show signs of being affected by it, because then I could relate to him as a normal human being who does get sad sometimes and cries.

just for the record I don't hate him, I just worry that this could be harmful for him.

I think it would wear you down but would you really give them that sort of satisfaction, if he broke down, they'd think they had won - I'd fight because he deserves to be there just as much as everyone else in that house

FWIW, I'm not a Halfwit fan but I too would prefer him if he DID break down. The fact that he acts so unaffected and "above it all" is a turn off for me. You're allowed to be annoyed that you've been up four weeks in a row, and he's allowed to be upset/angry etc. I just wish he'd show it

He has his comfort zone in Siavash and Marcus and Angel until last week.

and I love how you seem to think that I say he is strong simply because I'm a Freddie fan. Anyone with half a brain can see that he is clearly very mentally and emotionally strong and very, very easily rises above these people.

It's all good and fine to say he MIGHT breakdown in 3 weeks time. But so might Lisa. so might Kris. so might Marcus so might anyone. At this moment of time we have nothing to say he will more than we have for anyone else.
