What was your birth like?

My mum went into labour in the public toilets in town, was rushed to Hospital and then she had one of those things where you go all numb at the bottom part of your body. They gave her too much and she couldn't even push, so I was pulled out with Clamps, head first. My mum ripped inside and outside.

Nice

So yeah, what was your birth like, and mums, any good, or bad, birthing experiences.

CiaraD 04-07-2009 09:08 AM

Dunno lol I've never asked. All I know is that I was 5 days late or something.

pinkmichk 04-07-2009 09:12 AM

i was born by emergency c-section the day i was born was really snowy and icey and my grandad had to go in the car to act as balast to stop it rolling over:laugh: my grandad was actually the first to see me after i was born (dad was with my mum who was in recovery after general for the op)

my daughters birth i was down the hospital for a chek cos i was bleeding but they didnt think it was anything then just before i was going home i started bleeding again went back up to delivery found out i'd gone to 6m dilated then contrations started with full force 2 1/2 hours later with just gas and air she was born

I do have to agree people, us men get it easy. My mum said Giving birth is like Pooing out a pineapple

Pronay 04-07-2009 09:13 AM

Apparently I had a difficult birth, and the cord was wrapped around my neck, something like that, I've never really asked, it's just what i've been told

I have total Respect for all mothers who give birth. It really Sadens me when you hear about mothers who have to give birth, knowing that their child is dead. Must be a horrible Experience :(

Ahem, men have it worse, as sean lock said, women give birth and maybe they have more kids, but if your a man and you've been kicked in the balls before, you wouldn't ever want it to happen again

Ergo, kicked in the balls = more painful than childbirth

That's deep, do you ever wonder about your birth mother? Would you ever want to get in contact?

KillER 04-07-2009 10:22 AM

D:

mine was ok... i think? i havent really talked about the actual birth with my rents. i know i was born early in the morning though and they didnt have a phone at the time...so dad had to run to the nearest phone box and by the time he'd ran back home the ambulance was there and he collapsed into the back of it xDD

Captain.Remy 04-07-2009 10:24 AM

I don't remember. I was too young.

Zac 04-07-2009 10:27 AM

All I know is that I was born in an ambulance. That's all I have, and that I was born a day later than my due date. :/

Sod_James 04-07-2009 10:27 AM

I asked my mum this a few days ago. she said, and i quote.

'you were a difficult little ****er you got half way out and decided you were having none of it and stopped. You just gave up and laid there'

i was like ewwwwww.

Noel 04-07-2009 10:29 AM

My birth?..Well..one minute I wasn't there..the next, I was.
My mum said it was really painful though. She had to run across the street to her friend's house to bring her to the hospital when her waters broke, and the roads were VERY bumpy, so she said it was very difficult LOL.

I was really really pre-mature!! I think it was about four months early and would 3lb 11oz when I was born by c-section. I spent the first four months of my life in hostpital and was christened inside the hostpital chapel.

nearly died a lot of times.

LemonJam 04-07-2009 11:14 AM

I kept my mum in hospital over Christmas and she got her tubes tied ASAP. D:
