Marcus\'s Warning. Fair or unfair?

As much as i agreed with what he was saying in his DR speech. I suppose if he was was making threats against the departed Sree about 'meeting outside' then BB were right.

Fair or Unfair will suffice or even F or U. I know how difficult it is in this heat. :xyxwave:

Fair

BIG-BRO-FAN 04-07-2009 11:37 AM

Fair, he WAS aggressive in his tone and choice of words towards Sree.

HELLIWONTGO 04-07-2009 11:38 AM

No, and you know it, I don't know how you can suggest such a thing?
He was speaking up for all the frightened sheep in there, well apart from Freddie
When he said next time Sree starts I want you all to be witnesses, they almost shaat themselves!

Alf 04-07-2009 11:38 AM

it would have been if they had of issued cairon with one
when he said "stand up and say it to my face"

and to Lisa for jabbing at freddies head to emphasise the point she was screeching at him at the time.

Dont like Marcus, (don't like any of the housemates) but his comments were spot on, no one gets pulled up for mocking anyone elses accent but mocking Sree's is seen as offensive, which is ridiculous.

To say he does not have it in for Sree is bull, Marcus will pick on Sree on everything and anything.

That was then this is now, with Sree gone and Freddie invincible, it hard to tell who is next for the firing line or bullying.

vesavius 04-07-2009 11:58 AM

Yes, the warning for the threatening behaviour was fair. He shouldnt have offered him out in any sense, thats just obvious.

But Lisa should also have been warned for attempting to physcially intimidate Freddie and commiting actual assault on him.

And Sree should have been warned as well for raising his fist to Noirin.

The only difference was that Freddy and Noirin didnt play the victim card and Sree did so BB was forced to act.

So glad he is gone, the little pr!ck.

Clockers 04-07-2009 11:59 AM

Now he has been in the diary room twice, the 2nd session Marcus was in the wrong.

yes, agreed.

He should have just taken the vindication BB allowed him over the imitation issue, said sorry for the threatening behaviour later on, and just left.

He was obviously just still very angry though.

Shasown 04-07-2009 12:07 PM

Formal warning for Sree saying he felt threatened, yet theft and blackmail just let slip through, just shows how far our society has slipped into a moral abyss

Ned 04-07-2009 12:09 PM

I think he shouldnt have gotten a warning.
He was totally in the right.

Clockers 04-07-2009 12:10 PM

He was overly aggressive towards Big Brother too, he has I am always right attitude and cannot take any critisim on the chin and move on.

Cody™ 04-07-2009 12:11 PM

Agree he was a tad threatening but i agree with EVERY SINGLE thing that he said in the Diary room. Best BB speech ever!

Lauren 04-07-2009 12:33 PM

Fair. He was threatening.

But, Lisa also deserves one from when she aggressively pointed at Freddies head when saying he was paranoid.

Miss-red 04-07-2009 12:41 PM

for it to be fair they have to be consistent with there warnings. lisa went under the net poking freddie but marcus gets warned for words. its not right. i agree with everything he said in the dr that will live on as one of my best dr moments ever

bonnie43uk 04-07-2009 12:41 PM

fAIR, you cant use threatening behaviour in the house, they all know that, but as lots of people in here have said .. others have gotten away with it.

Am i right in saying Markus's warning was NOT for mimickery of Sree's voice, but for his threatenin behaviour towards Sree in the garden.

i dont think anyone would say the voice thing was racist.

Yep, 100% right.

Some people are getting the two issues mixed up.

BigBrotherfan4ever 04-07-2009 01:08 PM

I totally belive it was fair, the thing about Marcus is just cant admit when he has done wrong, & what made him more angry is BB sussed him out.

Get the arsehole out:mad:

setanta 04-07-2009 01:12 PM

Completely fair to have warned him on his behaviour- the guy is an arrogant thug. He's an aggressive kno-it-all.

30stone 04-07-2009 01:14 PM

Using Sree's accent, was funny.

But yeh i think its pretty fair, i think Sree deserves one.

your sports channel is , as the younger people would say 'pants' !!!:joker:

GiRTh 04-07-2009 01:15 PM

Totally fair. And, its a fair measure of the man that he couldnt take the warning on the chin. HE's a sad t**t.

RCW1945 04-07-2009 01:20 PM

"shows how far our society has slipped into a moral abyss"

Could this be fairly described as just the slightest bit exaggerated?

PS BB 1 Marcus 1 an honourable draw.

setanta 04-07-2009 01:26 PM

it's not about a moral abyss. he threatened somebody in the house. forget about the fact that it was the idiotic Shree, he still did it and it was very uncomfortable to watch. the fact that he wouldn't accept his warning made my blood boil. he's unable to see reason when it concerns himself and his own inflated ego. there's right and wrong in a situation like this, and he was wrong to talk to Shree about meeting outside after. oh, the man bugs me so much

28thapril 04-07-2009 01:31 PM

unfair -- what goes on inside the house is down to bb all h/m's know no violence! IMO sree walking towards marcus with hands swinging was just as bad baiting a situation!

outside the house no holds barred-- but marcus wouldn't waste his breathe on sree:flower:
