The BBC Future
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-tax-bill.html
Good News the CEO of the BBC says the Out dated direct BBC tax will go. The Bloated BBC needs to change and take away the Direct Tax as it is bad value. Life In The City. |
The BBC is value for money, worth every penny!
Arista, please give me the good and bad reasons for this? |
Quote:
You stand by the Bloated BBC. The Good news is that Direct BBC Tax will go it is out dated and no good in these times That it what matters not your Pathetic stand for the BBC. |
Right ok.. Arista do you even know anything?
|
Quote:
This is a Better Future It comes out of Council Tax means every home will pay So you still get your Bloated Money for your Bland BBC. Top Slicing will benefit other channels doing Public Broadcasting. |
The BBC is value for money.. Look at all the tv and radio channels you get, plus fantastic web and mobile phone support with bbc iplayer, the iplayer is now for mobile aswell.
Saying that the bbc is bloated is invalid, you need to argue the cause with more depth.. |
You do not Tell me What I need to Argue.
Fact. |
Another invalid post by Arista..:nono:
You dislike the BBC because.. "they are bloated!" You're knowlege is nonsensical. |
Thats your view
and you are not valid on many of your posts. It is the End of the BBC Direct Tax. Time For Change. |

This is a Great Interview with James Murdoch runs for 6mins with Graphs like the one at the very end shows us why the BBC is so Bloated. |
I don't think it's wise to listen to a Murdoch on the standard of media dominance and representation - it'd be like listening to criticism from Josef Fritzl on the Social Services.

I do not agree. And he is No problem to listen to. |
If it was scr*pped altogether no BBC license fee would mean ITV have to compete even more for ad revenue and they are already struggling as it is. Then that will have a knock on effect on Channel 4 and 5, and there would be new big players for funding for big digital channels meaning reduced profits and so on. The same applies to radio.
If we're paying through Council Tax rather than the TV License itself, we're still paying for the BBC but just a different method. Its like online shopping and paying once through credit card then the next time using Paypal. Its exactly the same thing but just coated as something else. |
Sure Tom
but it is going to change. |
You do hate the truth Arista..
Arista is just some 80s fax machine.. The BBC is not going to change, Arista needs to change or he will end up in some Afgan fax machine repair shop. |
As someone from outside the UK, can I just say that the BBC is worth every penny. Brilliant drama's, comedies that take a chance, even the news is realiable! Comeone with out the BBC you would have american type advertising long ago. Ad's every 8 minutes in the States, I rather pull my own teeth!
That is one thing the UK should be very proud of their television and their terrestra channels! Long live the Beeb! Without it I would have been stuck watching RTE, and believe me RTE in the 1980 and 1990's was all country music and farming news! |

The BBC will live long but it must change It is Over Bloated Fact. |

The Murdoch corporations are taking over the media and now they want to interfer in the BBC. I think they shoud be run out of europe myself, no one corporation should have that much control over what we watch, read and browse! I think yu should be less worried about the BBC being Bloated and more worried about the reasons the Murdoch's are poking their nose in. |
He can not change the BBC
but his Views are very important. Many TV executives agreed with what he stated about the Bloated BBC. "James Murdoch was right We need a civilised discussion, not an Edinburgh shouting match, in order to start finding media solutions" http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisf...rnet-recession |
Good for the BBC.. worth every penny!
I would even pay more for it.. Sky is the bloated devil.. But Arista you really need to learn about what Tom said, it will help you understand why we are right and why you are so wrong. Thank you please. |
[rquote=2502707&tid=123043&author=arista]Sure Tom
but it is going to change.[/rquote] If its being paid for via council tax, then no it isn't going to change. If it is scrapped altogether, then the TV industry will collapse. |

[/rquote] No the BBC will have to allow Top Slicing they are to Greedy with Public Money That is the Mega change that will help News & Arts on Commercial stations. That is what matters to Our Future. |
Arista has no idea..
|
If its top sliced the BBC will just demand more and use a load of spin how it cant be supported, and then we're back at square one
