Freddie: Nice guy? Spineless coward? Insecure & Clingy?

God I wish he wouldn't keep trying to get Kris' approval and acceptance.

The look of delight on his face as he was allowed to join in the bathroom lock game was disturbing.

He's a nice guy, who is honest, but has probably been made more insecure over the passing weeks by being up for eviction constantly. I will admit the bit with Charlie tonight made me cringe, but it just seems like he wants to have a proper connection with someone... or maybe just get some action.

He's a nice guy who has been starved of normal human contact for a month!!:eureka:

He wants love i think

if you had been constantly bullied for a month and had NO ONE you could trust to talk to about it, then you'd do the same. everyone tries to deny that they don't want/need acceptance but it's a human trait that humans want and need acceptance. it's innate. i agree some people want it more than others, but everyone wants it deep down.

Chuckyegg 05-07-2009 12:12 AM

Whatever happened to me in 1 month. I would still fundamentally be me. BB hasn't altered his personality.

cookiemonster 05-07-2009 12:13 AM

i don't understand your point

Chuckyegg 05-07-2009 12:18 AM

I think he is a mess and it's hard to believe that its just because of his BB experience.
I do love him to bits though.

kisywisy 05-07-2009 12:20 AM

it's not like a normal month in your life though

he's with them 24 hours a day. he doesn't get a break from them.

he just wants peace and harmony, not kris's approval

i don't think he's a mess. how strong he's been proves he isn't a mess.

How exactly has he been strong?

kisywisy 05-07-2009 12:45 AM

by not walking, crying, running to bb about it, still staying up beat...

there are sooo many reasons

a weaker person would've snapped by now

cookiemonster 05-07-2009 12:46 AM

what kisy said.

smoops 05-07-2009 12:58 AM

I admire Freddie's resilience.

Also, it was nice to see him finally being able to let loose and enjoy himself.

Maybe a little too insecure. It's starting to remind me of the way Mohamed was prepared to take any form of abuse from the housemates, particularly Rex, to gain acceptance. Then he stabbed Mikey in the back, the once person in the house who was willing to help him.

trasadkel 10-07-2009 01:03 PM

I'm sorry I know he has got a lot of support but I think that he has more of a gameplan than anyone in there. Everything he does comes across very false to me. One minute he is acting the victim, the next he is shouting and ranting at someone. His speech to Karly last night was cringeworthy. Who did he think he was.

If i had been Karly and wasn't guilty of saying the things he was accusing her of and talking to her in that patronising manner i would have been tempted to smack his face.

The more he has survived the more cocky and arrogant he is getting.

DrunkerThanMoses 10-07-2009 01:06 PM

Hes a nice guy... who wants people to stop, whats the word, um not bullying, you know what i mean, and be accepted. He has moments that make me cringe know!
