Game plans?
 

Please help me to understand... why do people make such a big deal about whether or not someone has a game plan? Isn't this basically a game show? I mean... are they there to win or are they there to get the summer off?

If I were in the house, OF COURSE I would have a game plan. Duh! I would make sure every vote made sense on a strategic sense to get me closer to the end... not about who makes noises while they eat.

Nobody has a full blown gameplan. Their impossible. They never work. Some people dislike certain housemates, and some people play to the cameras, but this whole idea of a gameplan is riddiculous.

And saying ''it's a gameshow so...'' makes no sense either. It's a gameshow yes but based directly on your existing personality. Anybody who has ever had a gameplan has been kicked out mericilessly to a chorus of boos.

I guess my point is that even if they are not hogging the cameras or making it obvious, how could you go on a show like this and not have a game plan in the back of your mind. I certainly would even if I kept it to myself.

And I understand what you mean about not having too much control because the public decides, but you can read certain situations and consider what will be the best action to get you the farthest. After all, it isn't the lottery where you stand around and hope your number is called. You can control how you behave in certain circumstances. Know what I mean? I just don't see why the public finds it the worst thing that a housemate can do.

Like I said in another thread, this is my first season of UK BB. In the US, people are sometimes given the money BECAUSE they had a good game plan. They are rewarded for playing the game better.

Still enjoying it. Just find it curious, is all.

My game plan would be to get out the popular ones first or i would back stab be bitchy or if i was honest i would be.......

Have to disagree. Having a game plan is part of ones existing personality.....I doubt there is anything in the rule book that says you have to be yourself while in the house. The purpose of the show is to win win win........By what ever means allowed........Real personality or otherwise......I agree with the OP........

I totally agree with you. I am continuously hearing the housemates moaning "He has a gameplan, She has a gameplan" It annoys me so much. In fact they all have a game plan of some sort, just some are better than others. The main thing whatever the game plan, don't upset the public.
