Lessons learned by the housemates after Big Brother

On the interactive story line I had the housemates set a discussion question along the lines of "What lessons did you learn about how you managed after BigBrother ended"

My hope was for real housemates to come in for a bit and gives us there thoughts. However it was brought to my attention that that was not the appropriate forum for that idea.

So I have started this thread.

This is how Stuart Hosking has answered

I learned that upon leaving the programme editing someone in a certain way
does not necessarily portray the true character of the person but provides
great TV, many of my friends and family were concerned that I was being
perceived as a nasty person, this couldn`t be further from the truth, so
slowly I have been trying to rebuild the public perception, to date I think
I have had some success and the programme which I think will be screen late
Dec early Jan will be make or break for me not only with the GP but with the
industry as well, that's in my opinion.......

Stuart

I had also asked Stuart if he knew when the BB2 where are they now programme was coming out.

If anyone can get other former housemates to answer this one it would make interesting reading

Interesting news about a December/January programe, as there is nothing obvious in the Christmas schedules as we'd all hoped.

I'm sure the editing wasn't that fair to Stuart, but I don't think it ever made him look nasty. Just a bit arrogant.

I think he'd do better in convincing the nation that he wasn't arrogant if he didn't just blame it all on editing. It's a shame he couldn't have countered this impression by using this opportunity to tell us something he'd learned about himself or his own life. Most of the others seemed to think it had improved them in some way. Even if it was just not to judge people on first impressions, or not to be so sensitive.

I'd have thought if nothing else Stuart must have learnt that his competitive nature annoys people, and that he should perhaps tone it down from time to time.

I've not heard much about Bubble since BB2, what's he been doing? I know he split up with his fiancee but that's about it :conf:

I got a reply from Bubble too. He's usually really good at repying to emails.

Janette - Bubble and Paul have been going around a lot of HMV stores and doing book-signings recently. He's really good at keeping his website up to date, so if you want to find out about him have a look at that. He's got a forum there that he regularly posts on.

That's great, thanks LEE I'll have a look. I always liked Bubble, he was about the most ordinary of all of them and he had a good reason to want to win
