Noirin\'s Betrayal of Trust

One element of Bunnygate that has not had much attention is Noirin's complete betrayal of trust.

Prior to talking to Noirin about the "rabbit" accusation, Siavash made her promise, promise! that she would not repeat it to the other group. Having just watched it on the HLs, she plainly and directly promises Siavash she will not discuss it with anyone else.

Yet what does she do? Heads to the bedroom and immediately tells the Nasties.

And yet again, Marcus, for all his many faults, is absolutely spot on in his quiet analysis that Siavash was trying to help her and yet she had "fed him to the wolves".

Disgraceful behaviour by Noirin. I started out liking her and every week she seems to do something to make me dislike her more.

Just goes to show what she`s really like don`t it

She believes She's no need for Team outcast no more so will throw her lot into Team Lisa.

It backfired now seen Lisa doesn't trust her.

She's in it to win it i'm afraid

No matter who screws over she wants the prize

The sad thing is she ain't going to win and she picked on the popular group with the public

Gobblygook!

Noirin knew she was sitting in the lions den when she sat with Siavash, Freddie and Marcus...it was foreign territory. She has been nominating Siavash and Freddie for weeks, so they were no friends of Noirin. Freddie had also nominated Noirin. Their scheming plan to get Noirin onside had been brewing all week with comments from Marcus and Freddie about getting Noirin to settle into a single group (theirs!).

When Siavash (prompted by Freddie) released his bit of slander, she saw red...and quite rightly so. Any girl would be hurt to find out that her friends were talking behind her back.

After that conversation it was 2hrs later and after further remarks from Siavash, also intended to get Noirin to join their group because they are **** scared of being nominated again. Noirin owed them nothing...

Noirin was not the one to a) name Karly/Kris not b) say who said it (Siavash).

Siavash himself did that when he entered the bedroom and then lied again in front of everyone. Noirin was defending her name and to berate her for trying to resolve the issue is just plain inhuman.

Put yourself in Noirin's shoes for a minute.

I repeat the simple unassailable point that Noirin directly and openly promised Siavash that she would not repeat their conversation, prior to Siavash speaking.

Then she did exactly that.

That is all.

Totally agree, i would have done the same thing & gone up to them & asked them straight!!
Siavash shouldn't of lied to try and get her to settle into his group!! End of.
I don't like Noirin but agree that she did the right thing.

AND Halfwit... what the hell was that proformance last night for?? Did he actually think he was performing on stage!? Nobody argues like that, perthetic. GET HIM OUT!

BB22 10-07-2009 08:55 AM

Freddie was awesome. He was probably the most innocent party out of all of those involved in the argument and fought his corner well in the face of Noirin's baseless insults.

Yeah but why did he feel asthough he was on center stage?? Hes playing up to the cameras majorly imo. There was no need for all the drama that he portrayed into his "speech"

QFT

This is exactly what I see in all this.

Noirin now has a track record of repeated betrayels of those she has led to believe are her friends.

'Friends'... like she has ever really had any... All Noirin has are temporary allies depending on what her current siutation requires.

Shes a user and abuser.

He shouldn't of lied though, if somebody says im going to tell you something and promise not to tell anyone and then takes ages to tell you who the people who said it were, you would be very suspicious.

Arsenal has it right.

Noirin is a snake who can't handle critics towards her
she goes nuts if someone tells her there is something negative on her

she is a manipulating backstabber, and what i can't figure out why they find her so attractive,is it the lack of beautiful girls in there?

I am not sure I agree with you there. It was all very dramatic but we need to take on board the fact that Noirin started talking to him and asked for his opinions on what was going on then stormed off, practically calling him a liar, when she didn't like what he said.

Freddie was entirely calm and reasonable with her until that moment. I think most people would react strongly to Noirin's behaviour in that particular circumstance. I know I would have been furious if I was in Freddie's position.

Alf 10-07-2009 09:17 AM

i totally understand that she made siavash look like a trouble maker,
and that people say she betrayed his trust.
but i know if somebody said to me that people are talking and putting you down behind your back, then i also would confront them.
until siavash came in the room and got into the argument, noirin didnt say who told her about being a rabitt.
you cant ask people to promise to keep things to themselfs before you have told them what it is they have to promise to.

Hardly an unassailable point when Noirin did what was asked and did not "repeat" the conversation.

She simply asked the other group if anyone had called her a rabbit and refused to state who said it and also who it was said about. Noirin didn't break her word, it was Siavash who entered the bedroom and told all.

People looking for a reason to hate Noirin will twist the whole event against her but she did the right thing in directly confronting the issue. She also uncovered a den of vipers and liars in Siavash and Freddie who's intentions were entirely dishonorable. If you failed to notice Noirin's intelligent style of investigation then you didn't watch carefully enough.
