I think the only reason why you don't want Freddie to win is just because he is so popular.

A bit like when people stop liking bands when they become famous because they want to be "different".

I actually dislike him. I find him slightly fake and plays up for the cameras. (He's a nice guy admittedly, but I find him dull).
