Manchester United setting a good example?

So Fergie has refused to go shopping in an over inflated market. I think this shows alot of character and is a compliment to the EPL. I think If all teams start spending over the odds like madrid it could have ruined the transfer market for years to come. I just think for a huge team like united to say no to ridicilous fees (considering they had 100m in the bank) is a very respectable move.

They've blown any chances of winning anything
they need a world class striker which they lack badly
Need a centre midfield were they were beaten in the champions league

the simple truth they don't have the money:laugh:
its paying off club debts

Fergie has handed the title to Chelsea.

Novo 16-07-2009 04:27 PM

Fergie knows what he is doing

and i think this will pay off

Rodrigo2Win 16-07-2009 04:29 PM

HAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAA

''refused to go shopping''

He bid 40 million for Ribery, 25 million for Ibrahimovic and 50 million for Aguerro, only they all turned him down.

Can't forget buying Valencia for triple what he;'s worth. What a hypocritical bastard.

Bang on mate, he is pissed off with getting turned down by players so he has resorted to spending silly money on shite players and now he isn't spending more cash.

He has won cups season after season, but that is in the past. The Man United squad has been severely weakened after the departure of Ronaldo, and no proper replacement has been made.

Chelsea will win the Premier League this season, mark my words Andy.

alc09 16-07-2009 04:50 PM

Not saying that he isn't a great manager, but his transfers this summer have been absolutely laughable, as is his decision to sign no body else.

Only cup I can see them winning this year is the Carling Cup.

Chelsea for Premier League and Barcelona will win the Champions League again.

Ninastar 16-07-2009 04:51 PM

Fergie is a great singer. She is so talented.

Joke obvs.

Novo 16-07-2009 04:52 PM

Ninastar 16-07-2009 04:55 PM

I am not inside her andy!

Nurse57 16-07-2009 04:58 PM

He doesn't like it when they are no longer the biggest spenders does he.

Tom 19-07-2009 10:16 AM

It'll be interesting, clearly a weaker team without Ronaldo and Tevez

Novo 19-07-2009 10:17 AM

Owen had no problem yesterday :hello:

Am really liking utd this season after the transfers they've made
