Just to tell you that ALL YT channels will change the design to the new version TOMORROW!! I hate them so much, YT sucks! :mad:

They are a bit of a bugger because a lot of the features have gone. But I like them at the same time.

I really don't like them either. So hard and slow.

There has been a proposed boycot to some YouTubers. Tomorrow will be a odd day on YT.

I dont mind it, but yeah the old one was better.

Nothing will happen. All YT needs to do is add small little additions, it is a good idea but not fully finished.

I HATE this new look.

Not only that, but its so slow and every video is shown on that stupid scroll thing, when you click on the video I WANT IT TO APPEAR ON ITS OWN PAGE, but NO! It comes up on the profile page at the side. You have to click ANOTHER link for the video to come up on its own page!

Maybe I'm just being picky, but I personally bloody hate it - whats wrong with the current one? Its much more neater!

That is so spot on. I may even boycott it tomorrow just for the day like the other YTers are.

Well that would be a bit pathetic and pointless don't you think? Hardly anyone will 'boycott' YouTube because the owners of YouTube would not have made the design change unless the majority of members they asked thought it was worthwhile. What does it matter to them if a small group of people don't visit their site for a day?

Anyway, I generally quite like the new layout and I think it looks much neater than the old one.

A good 90-95% of members HATE the new design. I wont boycott that is silly but I will not be a happy bunny.

I dislike the new channel layout as well. It's just so messy and difficult to navigate.

Fact is, we hate change.

This 'estimation' must be well off then because YouTube wouldn't make the change otherwise. I do think that most people just don't want to see it change because they are used to it how it is, I think they will get used to it pretty quickly.

However, I do feel that YouTube make too many changes to the site. The best change that they have made so far is when they altered the aspect ratio of the videos from 4:3 to 16:9 and they added the 'HQ' and 'HD' options.

Some of the things on the new design dont even work!

The best thing as you said is making the videos bigger and clearer.

Which things don't work?

You can NEVER [for me] click on the uploads button without an error comming up.

THe only thing that annoys me is the way the videos load on the profile and not a separate page. Because I like to read the comments.
