All housemates apart from Vanessa who still hasn't returned to the house have been given a box and it is there individual task to stay in it as long as possible. The person who stays in there box the longest will be the winner and therefore recieve a special prise. The will recieve a three course meal for the next three days and a special alchol selection!

Thats good, can't wait to see who wins!!

science is out of his box and has poured water in some of the other housemates boxes lol .....................vannessa done her ankle jumping on the beds last and is having it checked out

she got taken out in the early hours of this morning and was taken to hospital as she suffered from an ankle injury.

11 large boxes have been placed throughout the House and garden, one for each Housemate. Today's task requires each Housemate to get inside their box, and stay there. Whoever stays in their box the longest will win the task.

Sounds simple enough, but Big Brother will try to tempt everyone to abandon their boxes with various delightful treats including a luxury breakfast, messages from home and various goodies in the Diary Room.

And aren't the Housemates expecting a delivery of food in the store room..?

The rules state that there will be no smoking, no box sharing and once under their box, all parts of their bodies must be hidden from view.

To help them complete the task Housemates have been provided with a water flask, some Kendal Mint Cake, a compass, a head torch and a condom, though the use of this last item is as yet unclear.

Craig was disappointed by the size of his tiny box but thrilled to see that it was labelled Toxic. "They're keeping the Britney theme going then," he said approvingly.

The Housemates will communicate with Big Brother using special flags and in the event of an emergency they will hear the word giraffe.

Excellent! Maybe stop them from arguing for 5 minutes! :thumbs:

"You're the most annoying boy in England," Science told Kemal, trying to get him to shut up for a minute.

"Shut up," the belly dancer snapped. "No, you shut up." Science fired back. "SHUT UP!" Kemal shouted. And so it went on.

Science and Kemal then had a sort of tank war. Bumping into each other's boxes and hurling abuse from inside their cardboard tanks.

"Science get away from me," Kemal said. "You get away from me! You stink, 'cos you don't clean your thong," came Science's reply from within the box.

It all got a bit much for Science and at six minutes past midday he became the first to leave his box.

His first act of freedom? Pouring water through Kemal's peepholes of course!

Great task and such a lot at stake seeing they are all so hungry and want some beer. I think Roberto might win but he's got stiff competition and I do wonder if he lasts to the end only to find out that he has been disqualified for not putting his white flag out the hole when BB asked them all too.......great twist that would be:hello:

Does anyone know what was in the condom that was strapped in the box with them? or lord forbid that was for them to use instead of that bathroom????? Saskia's has just burst :joker:

I think the boxes should all have been the same basic shape.

They could vary the size a little, according the the height and weight of the HM, but to give some upright boxes [where they have to sit crunched up] and others flat ones [where they can lie down and sleep] is plain unfair. I think the flat-box-people have a big advantage.

Max has just called it quits.

I would rather fail the task than have to sit in the box for a long period of time.
