Rodrigo\'s Diary Room Speech - Brutally Honest and Accurate; Brilliant!
 

I loved his speech in the diary room!

He pointed out that the ex HMs had star quality with charasma, the quality of making others laugh, are attractive and flat out entertaining.

He also criticized the HMs, saying that they were being idiots for vandalising the house and trying to put together a protest; he found it disrespectful and pointless, which is correct.

He then dissed them for being rebels, especially Halfwit for changing and clearly being led by Marcus; who's the sheep now ehh?

The best bit, he saved for last; saying that the HMs had 6 weeks to be entertaining and have fun; yet suddenly and only just today, they made their pathetic attempts to do just that. This being only due to the ex HMs showing them up upon their spicy entry.

It was so funny and so true; the irony was, it took the most boring, dim and delusional-happy HM to actually come out and say this!

Bravo ... shame you're just so clueless and boring, lol. :laugh3:

haha I agree, he is just jealous that other HMs can entertain us while all he can do is moan, sleep and just sit and stare at people all the time.

Not saying I love other Hms to bits, I actually hate most of them but in this case, I support them over Rodrigo the bore!

I think the whole show and protest was brilliant, people have been complaing about no fun, but tonight every united (apart from Rodrigo, Karly and Lisa) and went mad. Tonights 2nd half of the show reminded me of BB5 days.

They were having a bit of fun and releasing some pent up frustration. You know AhmedFan you seem bitter and un happy and resentful and negative all the time. Is life not good to you, have you never had fun??

I think his point was that they all suck compared to the ex HMs.

The HMs pathetic attempts at being rebels to try and be entertaining for the day, to compete with the ex HMs, was a disrespectful farce.

I think he knows his limitations, and he realises the star quality and intriguing nature of ex HMs like Nikki, Brian, Michelle, etc.

He just had the guts and perceptive ability to reveal this truth, unlike the others.

If BB were watched by the type of people who watch Shipwrecked, The Apprentice...or any other vaguely intelligent/cool reality show, Rodrigo would be popular...but you're forgetting, if you're not mentally retarded, disabled or black, the BB fans hate you and find you boring.

I seriously think Rods have never seen an episode of bb before, because this is so tame compared to what I've watched on bb in the past 9 years.

Well my initial post was a more elaborate version of what he said.

He said in his own way that: Nikki and Brian rock, Halfwit is a rebelling sheep, the HMs suck and haven't been fun for 6 weeks but made a pathetic attempt just today to compete with vastly superior ex HMs, the HMs are rude, etc.

I just found it funny and was amazed that a current HM revealed this truth. :thumbs:

I don't think that's true really. Too many bores survive evictions, many lame winners who are dull, and clever ones like Halfwit are doing well. I do agree that being retarded/disabled/black may well not count against you on BB though, and if one knows how to play off of that trait; it can help.

There's many ways to appease the public and ultimately fool them. The voting audience for BB is dimmer, more gullable and more emotionally sensitive than audiences of more intellectual shows.

I agree. I think what Rodrigo said was the most perceptive diary room conversation yet. He was SPOT ON. He's not my favourite or anything, but he had the measure of what was going on with that 'protest' to a T!
