There are lots of Muslims like Hira. Clockers a Muslim too, well kind of!
 

I am not sure many of you people know this, but I am Muslim, but many people would never consider me to be one. I am more Muslim by name than nature and no one really batters an eyelid if I wanna get pisssed or have one night stand or even eat a bacon buttie, not forgetting the poker either.

At the same time, I consider myself so broadminded about certain things, like equal rights for all races genders and sexuality that I sometimes feel more Muslim than people who consider themselves to be strict followers of Islam.

I have allot of debates with Muslims regarding Islamic issues and we all have our own interpretations.

There are allot of girls in my ethnic community like Hira, westernised but still holding on to traditional beliefs. It common occurance, we are all not Quran bashing, fear mongering fanatics. Many Muslims just live their daily lives and not be concerned about other forms of Islam but their own.

So is Hira a strict Muslim girl, I would say "Hell Yeah!"

I was born Muslim mate, but there nothing worse than someone going ape about relgion.

Did you know 2 or 3 years ago Miss United Kingdom was a Muslim.

There has been 2 threads now locked on this, clockers trying to put a point across that there are thousands of muslim who are not strictly abiding by the religion and good for them, nobody should be completely controlled by religion.

I'd agree with that and add that most countries in the EU are like that, it's the same here in Ireland.

But who are you to tell someone what they believe, you know nothing about clockers or his/her lifestyle...and yet your passing judgement - is that a muslim thing to do?

You are neither being peaceful or tolerant, and even though I dont practice Islam, I hate seeing it practiced by people who are hot headed and fanatical. I have always tried to make people understand that their is nothing wrong with the relgion, it just a few people within the relgion have something wrong with them.

Get a grip and stop attacking people for putting something out there about themselves.

What I am also trying to put across is being a strict muslim is also a frame of mind. Nothing wrong with how Hira dresses or behave, she is still as Muslim as a lady covered head to toe.
