Am i the only the one who really dislikes Freddie?
I dont get the hype. I think he is boring and irritating. He changes his personallity all the time. Hes arogant. Cringy to watch. And just ewwwwwww. I dont get why everyone loves him,its the same old story with him every highlights show. |
I can't stand him. He was fine during the protest thing, but he just really annoys me. And the accent just makes it 10 times worse. :bored:
|
i cant stand him either. i think hes just sooooo fake.

this past week he's relaxed and has come out of his shell much more, but people see this as "changing personalities." even karly picked up on this, saying he's much more relaxed and being himself so it's obvious he isn't changing his personality  |

no. he was shy, getting bullied, and nobody was giving him the time of day. now the HMs gave him a chance, they liked him for it. |
I'm happy to be with all you say OP, even tho we're the minority!
|
I think he's okay... But definitely don't think he should win
|
I think hes more interested in playing the game than anything. His rant at Lisa yesterday (who I cant stand btw) was more about asserting his new found power than any genuine concern for winning the task. He didnt react in the same way as he did with Noirin. He constantly talks about the dynamics of the house and I think hes all too aware of how to manipulate them.
For someone who clearly understands social dynamics he appeared to be someone who was lacking in social skills during the first week. There was even talk of him perhaps having Aspergers on TIBB during that first week. i think it could have been a ploy to irritate. all he needed was some agressive morons to pick on him and waheyyy on to a winner! as I've said before this makes for great TV and fair play to him but I dont think he should win |

Nonononononono... He's not changed AT ALL... Well he has but not purposely!! It's not like he decided to be like that.. it's that he's just more happy now because people have stopped picking on him.. He's tonnes more confident and you can see that.. He's just enjoying himself. xxxxx

I don't LOVE Freddie, but with the exception of Siavash, Charlie, and Marcus, who else is a better housemate? And by better housemate, I refer to their entertainment value and not necessarily who I'd want to be friends with and hang out with in the real world. I can't stand Lisa as a HM because she's boring as hell, but I'd probably get on quite well with her out in the real world. Same thing with Freddie, I probably wouldn't hang out with him, but he's pretty entertaining in the BB house.
To me, he's the best of the worst. Almost everyone in the house is a total bore. Lisa doesn't do anything but sit and smoke all day. Before Karly's eviction, she did pretty much the same as Lisa. You hardly ever see anything of Sophie since Kris left. She's given me a couple of laughs, but other than that she's boring. Noirin isn't all that entertaining either. Only thing that really gets her screen time is Marcus's advances on her. Rodrigo is okay, but all he's had to offer here lately is being a buzzkill to the other housemates. If it weren't for Marcus, Siavash, Charlie, and Freddie's antics in the house, I'd have long ago stopped watching this show. |
As a fan of Siavash, I would also usually expect to like the 'group' he would hang out with.
Unfortunately I don't and can't like anyone else in the house, including Halfwit. I did begin to warm to him, but again his behaviour began to change, and his swearing and vulgarity came across as forced and part of the 'fitting in' mode with someone like Siavash. He tries to always take the moral high ground on issues. One prime example is the tokens for the house. He kept it for the house, which is admirable, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if he then used this against another housemate at some point. Yet Siavash also used his token for the house, but asking for booze and snacks for everyone. His gesture I felt was far more sincere. I've said elsewhere, which I stick by: Quote:

He's the type of guy who will show up at your party, making most of the other guests leave.
