I thought it was quite sweet. I actually do feel sorry for Marcus, you can't help who you fall for. He thinks the world of her and would do anything for her.

It was a perfectlt pleasant meal for two people who obviously get on well.

Didn't Marcus say he lives with his mother? Kind of explains this infatuation he has for Noirin, I can't see him being a ladies man like he makes out, I would wager he is a virgin.

Norin couldn't really say "No" to the date. She's his friend and she got a meal out of it. I think she was just trying to be nice to a friend and not leading him on. :shrug:
