Why do we naturally love and respect
 

upper class people with loads of money like Freddie and Bea even if they have totally different values than us(most of them have very liberal values) .Is it because deep inside we crave to be rich like them one day or is this respect and awe because they are basically better people when compared to people like Lisa who have less money and belong to a different class.

I think freddie and Bea have been well brought up, with manner etc! I dont think it has to do with money at all. Have you ever heard Lisa say thanks in there? Freddie and Bea have their faults the same as anyone but they are pleasant to everyone even if they don;t like them. Its nothing to do with class, just manners.

I wish people would stop making out that theres this class thing in the house,It's almost like how team nasty acted towards Freddy they took an instant dislike to him and used class as the excuse but in reality it was them that felt inferior to him and not that he thou he was better than them. Nasty people dont like nice and polite people they think everyones like them and try and bring them down to there level.

It clearly does have something to do with class. Middle and upper class people are generally more well mannered and educated than those in the lower classes. It's not 'classist' to say it. It's just common sense, someone who never had to struggle growing up is probably going to be a lot more mellow and content with life whilst someone who's grown up with not much like Lisa is more likely to be bitter about it and have grown up in an environment where manners and respect didn't count for much.

Both of you seem to imply that upper class people(Freddie & Bea) are well brought up and have better manners,you also imply that the other class(Team nasty) took an instant dislike and used class as an excuse and felt inferior----- All this proves that there is defnitely a class thing going on in the BB house and more importantly IN OUR HEARTS(BB voters) and hence we vote the other class out.

No I am not! I am saying the opposit actually. take Rodrigo for instance, he come from a poor back ground yet has perfect manners, always saying please and thank you, and behaves well even to those he does not like! Anyone can be brought up well, with manners etc., it has nothing to do with money! If I thought my children behaved like lisa there would be trouble!

What proof exactly do you have that Rodrigo comes from a poor background? I would bet just the opposite

Rodgrigo's atttitude is largely to do with culture anyways.

It's more a pride thing than a class of breeding, there are a lot of well bred people with no time for other people or manners, its down to the parents largely and partly a culture thing
The britishare largely ignorant compared to many cultures, Angel never said a bad word to or about anyone

No doubt you are a good parent and your children are well behaved and have a happy prosperous future but what I am trying to point out is the inborn biases we are born and grow up with for example the booing of Hira even before she stepped into the BB house-a bias which we all saw and heard-These biases are present in all societies and no doubt it is present in BB house and BB voters.We cannot condemn anybody for these biases but we need to understand it and alter our behaviour inorder to overcome it.Some times we need to refrain from booing even if we want to.

We aspire to be like them deep down, so we overcompensate and appease them on some level. With the rougher and more common housemates, the reverse holds true and we overcompensate by being repelled and rationalize their behaviour as 'bad/sneaky/b*tchy' etc.

It's mostly prejudice and different standards for different people at play.

Like I always say, never give a sh*t about what others think, unless it's a very logical, rational, unbiased explanation.

For things like teen girls/mums/weirdos/chavs etc voting who form a big chunk of the BB demographic, you must really reduce it all to panto/fun.

20 years ago you'd be hated for just being gay. It's all about social standards.
