Ken\'s Mythical US Show
Watching the highlight's last night, Ken told Lisa The Hag that he had been offered 6 figures per episode for some kind of show about him in America.
I nearly choked laughing. Who on earth would want to watch this ugly little runt? The man is a fantasist. Would love Marcus to hold him down and sh1t in his mouth...and take one of his photos as he did so lol. |
Money talks i'm afraid :pat:

My wife and I both burst out laughing when Kenneth started talking about this proposed TV show. The very idea is utterly preposterous. Heaven knows what is really going on in that man's head.

i think the american public dont know who he is and they certainly dont know who KARLY and SOPHIE and so they are not going to pay that sort of money for a show about people they have no interest in because they dont know them.Americans like americans to star in their tv shows that is why the remake shows like the OFFICE.

Not only do the American Public not know who he, Karly or Sophie are (although, I do now because of BB) the entire idea of him having a show in America where he dates the two of them is a joke. American TV networks are always hesitant to adopt foreign television shows because they fear that many Americans would not be able to understand what people are saying due to a lack of familiarity with foreign accents. BBC America often runs shows with subtitles or captioning for this very reason. I tend to disagree with the idea that people would not understand the accents but a large portion of the television I watch does come from the UK so perhaps I'm more familiar with the accent, slang terms, pop-culture references, etc. than most. I don't think that people would have a very hard time understanding Sophie, but Karly's accent is so thick that there have been a few times where I had to rewind and listen to something she said a second time. This was even highlighted on the Eviction episode with a clip of things that couldn't be understood. I'm not sure who Kenneth thinks was going to pay him six figures per episode to do 22 episodes of anything, but another fact that lends an air of incredulity to his statement is that US shows only have a run of 13 episodes. I think we'll be finding out more about Kenneth from Big Brother rather soon. Perhaps he was sent in as a "mole" of sorts. Or perhaps he really is the fool he presents himself as. Either way, I think he'll shake things up a bit as Karly predicted.
