Did you know that moonrock is called armalcolite?
Arm for Armstrong,
Al for Aldrin and
Co for Collins.

Bit of useless information...

bebopalula 20-07-2009 10:55 PM

i think you will find we have put man on the moon and his name was marcus

AfroMullet 20-07-2009 10:56 PM

Marcus could walk into the garden and jump to the moon right now if he wanted.

HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP

LRO Sees Apollo Landing Sites07.17.09 NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, or LRO, has returned its first imagery of the Apollo moon landing sites. The pictures show the Apollo missions' lunar module descent stages sitting on the moon's surface, as long shadows from a low sun angle make the modules' locations evident.

The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera, or LROC, was able to image five of the six Apollo sites, with the remaining Apollo 12 site expected to be photographed in the coming weeks.

The satellite reached lunar orbit June 23 and captured the Apollo sites between July 11 and 15. Though it had been expected that LRO would be able to resolve the remnants of the Apollo mission, these first images came before the spacecraft reached its final mapping orbit. Future LROC images from these sites will have two to three times greater resolution.

I love the conspiracy nuts,

The whole of Nasa, lots of the US Air force, and shed loads of US civilians and not one of them has come out and said its true it was all faked, now that is some conspiracy.

But the real killer is, it was a space race between the US and the USSR, at the height of the cold war, the USSR could and did track American Space Missions to the Moon, when the Americans announced they had landed men on the moon why did the russians not reveal the fact it was a fake?

You will notice though, that everyone who thinks it didn't happen are people who know absolutely nothing the subject and just spout the same old stuff they've read. Usually stuff written by someone else who knows nothing about the subject.

LMAO... yes, that's obviously true! No sugar on the moon. Official.

muchadoaboutnothing 20-07-2009 11:41 PM

I think this topic should be on a seperate thread. The moon landing of 40 years ago has nothing to do with the present BB series.

A vaccum has no friction.Things dont stop moving as quickly as they do on earth. The astronauts got the flag attatched and then straightened it-This appears like fluttering on the frictonless moon atmosphere.

Yes but he did it once, straight after karate killing 100 warriers, why would he do it again?

nahhh not really i just thought about it logically like the fact that this is wot the late 60's?!!! and i doubt the technology would of allowed them to send a man in the moon or whether it would of even been safe to try

An opinion need not be backed by facts. We are just putting the overwhelming evidence infront of you to help change your opinion and have a more positive outlook.
