He's also said that we shouldn't expect them to buy anymore shows because they're 'distractions' (which is basically saying Big Brother shouldn't have been brought in the first place)

I suppose on the bright side more fresh ideas...

I suppose on the bright side more fresh ideas could be developed in the slot which Big Brother frees up, but then again Channel 4 promised 'fresh formats' and we don't seem to have gotten anything...

I wouldn't be excited at all as fans for Big Brother, he or Viacom doesn't give a toss about it and it's clearly not in their plans for Channel 5! Their 'big plans' don't seem to extend further than...
