I agree with what you say about old fashioned values...just think it's a shame that she thinks money gives her stability in a relationship. It doesn't..it buys you a quality of life that she desires...it doesn't bring you the love that is required for a stable relationship...it's very shallow IMO...
Her views on 'common' people is just snobbery. There are real Chavs and real low life's in this world but many 'common' people who have better morales and 'real ness' about them that make them better people than Sarah and those she leans towards....and Harriet is one of them.
