To clarify the DVD situation once and for all I have emailed Endemol one final time to ask if ther will be an uncut DVD released at all. Their reply was;
"Dear Eve,
I have spoken to our commercial department to finally clarify the DVD situation. The only DVD we are releasing for BB5 is the one that was released in conjunction with The Sun newspaper.

Earlier I emailed them and got this reply

Endemol will be releasing a BB5 DVD shortly. I do not have an exact release
date as yet.

It seems there has been some confusion about the Big Brother 5 DVD that has now been cleared up, there will not be a BB5 DVD other than the one that the Sun is doing.
