It is a burden on a countries resources to take in unlimited streams of people who seek a better life in more prosperous places. Though the current attitudes to people who must be desperate to seek a new life on rickety boats seems really cold and unfeeling.
And yet who can really blame someone for wanting a better life? These are human beings who are willing to risk their lives for better prospects.
In their shoes who here wouldn't want better for themselves and their children?
