Anyone who doesn't see the terrifying parallels between the current situation in the US and other events throughout history is surely either willfully blinkered... or actually closet agrees with those events. Pretty much that simple.

At the very least we're getting a good insight into how these "unthinkable" events come to pass. When it comes right down to it... people just don't really give a **** until it's far too late.
