apparently the connection to the life is strange world is because his mom emily went to Blackwell, and i don't know about this, maybe newer characters are interesting for the life is strange fans, but maybe they'll do a cameo of Max (and depending if you saved Chloe, chloe as well a cameo) in episode 5 of life is strange 2, near the end of the game
