Yes, because Scottish (and Northern English, to be fair) families and communities were destroyed by the Conservative Westminster government in the 80's leading to higher levels of social breakdown and addiction a generation down the line. The Scottish NHS is now doing an
admirable job of tackling those issues, no thanks to the brand-new-but-just-the-same Conservative government of the 2010's.
