As did lots of other stars.
I don't think that it's fair to blame the age she started, or the fact she couldn't grow up for her going off the rails.
Don't get me wrong, I like some of her music, even if I dislike her, always have. However, I don't think it's fair to blame it on that, when loads of other stars over other eras, including recent/same as Britters became global megastars.

But in Britney's defence, she's probably one of the most talked about stars, and has been since she was 16. She hasn't had the opportunity to develop into an adult like most people do, which in mine, and a lot of peoples opinions has affected the way she is.
