Don’t apologise; this is of course a stressful time, and it’s good that you feel comfortable enough to get it off your chest and talk about how you feel. Whether you go to university or simply get a job really depends on just you – it should be your choice only. The deciding factors are really whether or not you wish to be a part of university life, what kind of career you want, how you see your future mapping out and what you think it holds.
If you have aspirations which don’t require qualifications, I’d still always say your best bet is to have something anyway you can fall back on. You won’t necessarily have no money, in the sense that you could still take up a part time job whilst at university. I know how you feel though – I’m in a similar situation at the moment and I’m finding that I’m just going with the flow.
