Even being a Brian fan myself, I will admit that he was not being completely genuine whilst in the house. However, at the same time, as time goes on and pressure builds, I would imagine it becomes difficult not to play up to the cameras a little, which is what Brian did.

I certainly don’t think the extent to which he did this was a step too far or anything; in fact, I found a lot of the things he said or did quite amusing, which is why I’m a fan. I am a huge fan of the twins as well though, and they sailed through BB following similar sorts of principles.

In summary, therefore, I would say that Brian wasn’t ‘fake’ in the negative term; he played up to the cameras, yes, but it worked to his advantage in the end and he was overall a great housemate in my opinion. Furthermore, you could say that the circumstances in the BB house bring out different responses from housemates, which may have been why Brian sometimes said things he may not have done in the outside world. Anyway, as a result overall, his fan-base made sure he won.
