I couldn't honestly tell you, as id have to be Brian to know for certain...

Brian apparently is a sexual novice who's never had a girlfriend, so perhaps he isn't emotionally developed enough to understand what true love is? but just thinks he's in love because it's the first girl he's ever really liked, who showed signs of liking him back?

I think he genuinely likes her, how could he not? They're on similar wavelengths and she's an attractive, caring, fun girl to be around.

She wouldn't appeal to me on an intellectual/conversational level to be fair, not that im claiming im superior in anyway, but she's highly suited to Brian.

Likes her = Definite.
Loves her = Can't be sure.

That's my opinion anyway.
