I respect your POV, but I don't see any similarity. Ahmed seemed, and often was, out of control a lot of the time, but seemed as if he felt entitled to be badly behaved.
Hardeep just reminds me what it's like to be Scottish - when affectionate banter can be quite cutting and close to the bone. I think the tension we see in him is him tyring to rein that in ... a bit
