Not to go too dark here but... literally nothing can create a better future
. There is no better future. We're in maintenance mode, trying to scrape along with an as-good-as-we-can existence for as long as possible until the planet inevitably (and in the not too distant future; though probably a century or two so not within our lifespans) becomes so overpopulated and polluted that it falls to dust.
The only real option is to make life as good as it can be
right now... future generations are, unfortunately, already screwed.
