Honestly surprised that some people are suggesting her age at the time makes a difference. You know full well what you're saying at 15.
That word is disgusting (and having been on the receiving end of it for being merely 1/4 Pakistani I know how much hatred is behind it) and a 14/15 year old who uses it is a racist, not a naive child who doesn't know better.
